Start Strong L.A. Launch!

“Peace Over Violence is launching “Start Strong L.A.,” a program aimed for youth ages 11 to 14. This program will promote safe and healthy relationships and prevent dating violence. It will concentrate in and around Berendo and Virgil Middle School. The aim is to impact students and their families in this area. Statistics show that 1 in 3 teens report knowing a friend or peer who has been hit, slapped, or physically hurt by a partner. It is up to us youth to turn this around.” - Ralph
